FRANKLIN ELECTRONIC MAKE A COMEBACK 06 Jan 1994 Franklin Electronic Publishers Inc, which nearly died after its business of building Apple II clones was killed, and has made a dramatic come-back with its handheld electronic books, has signed an agreement with Mobile Telecommunications Technologies Corp wireless messaging company Skytel to develop and provide paging services via its Digital Book System: it will develop a matchbook-sized card that will snap on the 4.6 ounce Digital Book and enable it to receive messages and to access recorded information.
